The Center for Veterinary Health Sciences at Oklahoma State University is seeking applicants for a tenure track position in Veterinary Physiology (open rank). Candidates must have a Ph.D. in a relevant field. A DVM degree in addition to the Ph.D. is highly desirable, but not required. In alignment with the Department’s desire to integrate basic physiological research with its clinical application, experience or training in a clinical discipline is also highly desirable, but not required. The successful candidate’s primary assignment will be research and teaching, at percentages to be agreed upon by the candidate and the department. Preference will be given to candidates whose research interests align with one or more existing focus areas within the department, including comparative exercise physiology, respiratory infectious disease, endocrinology, aging, diabetes, and interventional/targeted oncology. The primary teaching assignment will be in the teaching of systems physiology in the DVM curriculum, with additional contribution to the graduate curriculum as appropriate.
