The School is committed to striving for excellence in research and teaching, with particular interest in Emerging Zoonotic Diseases, Animal Welfare, Aquatic Production, Public Health and Food Safety. A six-year Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (BVM) programme will commence in the academic year 2017-18.

The University is currently accelerating its recruitment of highly motivated and qualified staff that will contribute to the development of the School of Veterinary Medicine.
