The Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University at Buffalo is seeking an experienced scientist to study signaling pathways in oncogenesis and chemotherapeutic drug resistance. Expertise in the following areas and techniques is sought.

  • Cell biology
  • Cancer biology
  • PCR/QPCR
  • Flow cytometry/FACS
  • Cloning and general molecular biology techniques.
  • Signal transduction analysis
  • Immunofluorescence, confocal, super-resolution microscopies
  • Protein-protein interaction analysis
  • In vivo techniques, xenograft/GEMM models

The successful applicant will work closely with the PI but will also have project objectives that will allow significant independence.
