Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine Department of Pathobiology invites applications for the position of Research Associate. The successful applicant will assist faculty researchers in biomedical research encompassing a variety of molecular biology techniques such as mammalian cell culture, plate-based cell viability assays, nucleic acid (RNA and DNA) extraction, gel electrophoresis, western blotting, PCR, and immunocytochemistry.

The individual in this position will carry out experiments using research animals and should have experience with experimental treatments and surgical techniques, post-operative care, behavioral studies, genotyping, and euthanasia (in accordance with IACUC-approved protocols and the Guide for the Care and Use of Experimental Animals).
