We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a background in animal models of vascular disease, veterinary surgical nursing, clinical research coordination, and grant writing to join the Canon Stroke and Vascular Research Center team at UB.
The successful applicant is expected to assist with the management and organization of clinical research data and protocols as well as participating with the planning and implementation of current and new animal models. The applicant should also be versed in the writing of grants and articles for peer-reviewed journals. In our lab, staff and faculty work closely with physicians to focus on improving imaging, treatment, and detection of vascular diseases such as stroke and brain aneurysms by conducting translational studies, often in collaboration with industry partners.
Salary: $50,000 – $55,000
