The Tufts Veterinary Field Service (TVFS) invites applications for a clinical track Assistant or Associate Professor in equine ambulatory medicine and surgery. Tufts Veterinary Field Service in Woodstock, CT is a 10 veterinarian practice that is a clinical and teaching unit of Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University in North Grafton, MA. We are one of the largest academic veterinary field services in the country. We have a highly motivated client base with a wide variety of disciplines and breeds.
The successful candidate will be an experienced equine practitioner proficient in lameness and general practice skills. Board certification or eligibility in a relevant specialty is preferred (ABVP, ACVIM, ACVS, ACVMSR). This is primarily a clinical service and teaching position. Scholarship opportunities are available in clinical, collaborative and independent research.
