Applications are invited from qualified individuals for a 3-year term full-time clinical instructor position (with potential for renewal) in Primary care and Preventative medicine in the department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences beginning July 1, 2025 or by negotiation. The successful applicant must have a passion for veterinary medicine and a keen interest in coaching veterinary students for success in veterinary clinical practice.
We are seeking candidates who have a DVM degree or its equivalent and are eligible for general licensure to practice veterinary medicine in Saskatchewan. The successful candidate must have a minimum of two years experience in small animal general practice. An advanced degree and/or advanced training are desirable.
This position will have a 75% clinical commitment and 25% formal teaching commitment. They will contribute to building of a healthy and diverse caseload for clinical learning. This veterinarian will ensure the development of a positive and vibrant team-based clinical service with excellence in client service. They will coach veterinary students as they develop competence and confidence in the key elements of the framework for competency based veterinary education. They will work to incorporate recent veterinary medical evidence-based advances and enhance the skills of undergraduates and technical staff. They must be a strong team player and be able to communicate and collaborate professionally with people of diverse backgrounds.
Salary range: $74,789 - $117,629.
