Clinical research interests include the role of vector-borne disease in triggering immune-mediated diseases and mechanisms of thrombosis in proinflammatory disease states, particularly for immune-mediated hemolytic anemia in dogs. Dr. Kidd is also interested in educational research regarding the efficacy of using patient POVMRs (SOAPS) and videoconferencing rounds to facilitate development of clinical reasoning skills for internal medicine cases in a distributive model of veterinary clinical education.
