Expertise: My primary area of interest is the prevention of anaesthetic related morbidity and mortality. I have focused my research on attempting to qualifying and quantifying the incidence of anaesthetic complications. This is achieved by clinically based observational studies and practical methods of identification of these problems so to improve the standard of care of anaesthetised veterinary patients throughout New Zealand veterinary practices
