Dr. Davis conducts research focused on visualizing host-pathogen interactions for infectious agents including influenza A and Pneumocystis. In addition to her own research, she provides pathology support to the Center of Excellence for Emerging Zoonotic Animal Diseases. Her work leverages both traditional pathology and advanced microscopy techniques including confocal, multi-label immunofluorescence and digital microscopy. She has a strong interest in the intersection of medicine and technology.
